Cornerstone International College offers an all-inclusive, academically based program that prepares Hemodialysis Technicians to pass the certification exam for Certified Hemodialysis Technician through the state/national certification exam.

 

Comprehensive sections including:

The Hemodialysis Technician Program (or sometimes called Hemodialysis Patient Care Technician) provides comprehensive clinical knowledge and skills that enable practitioners to provide hemodialysis to patients.

The program teaches students how to work with patients and how to use hemodialysis equipment properly. The program focuses on helping students learn to take vital signs, obtain vascular access, take blood samples and work comfortably with patients and their families.

Program Goal

The goal of this program is to provide each student with the knowledge base and clinical skills necessary to assure high-quality patient care to those who have Stage V kidney disease.

Graduation and Certification

Upon successful completion of the Hemodialysis Technician Program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Cornerstone International College.

Graduates must obtain national certification within 18 months of being hired into and working in the hemodialysis patient care setting.

Hours

For the majority of the program, your learning schedule will include Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. Hours will vary with rotation.
